Alors allons-y.
I wasn’t supposed to go to this concert but I have to admit that I was a bit jealous of the European set lists, so I made the decision to go to this one on the beach. When I made the decision to go, there were no more Fan club tickets available so I bought the VIP Diamond Ring Experience. I didn’t regret it at all. The pre party was so well organized and everyone was nice to both my friend and me . That day, the temperature was not great. It was really cloudy and windy and because it was on the beach, it was cold. But when we entered the Diamond Circle at 4h00 pm, the clouds broke and the sun shone for the rest of the day!!!
There was some room left in the first row but the stage was so high that we decided to go to the catwalk on Richie’s side. We had a really great view of the stage.
When the boys hit the stage, I was like “oh my God, I’m in Belgium, on the beach to see my favorite band!!!”.
They opened the show with Happy Now which is a great opening song. Richie was in shape, there was a lot of interaction between Jon and him and a lot of interaction with the fans too. It was really good seeing him so happy and so healthy!!! I had the chance to hear Whole Lot Of Leavin’ once again! And I was really happy to hear Raise Your Hands live as I didn’t get to hear it at any shows. They also did a song from the box set, namely Garageland.
When Jon came on the catwalk and Bed Of Roses started, my heart started to pound so much because I knew he would probably come to our side and I would maybe get the chance to show him my banner “Your Kiss Is What I Need” and maybe he would recognize me or my banner like he did last May at Mohegan Sun. When he was on the side facing the Golden Circle, I screamed “Jonnnn”. He turned around to face us but he tried to look at as many people as he could and a lot of people had banners so he didn’t read mine. During I’ll Be There For You, he asked Richie to join him on the catwalk and Richie was really amazing. He looked everywhere and he really seemed to enjoy every second of the song. When he came near us, my friend and I screamed “Richiiiie” and he looked at us and gave us a beautiful smile. I like those magical moments!
After Keep The Faith, they left the stage and when they came back for the encore, Jon was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt and his eyes were so blue, he was so gorgeous! At one point Jon seemed a bit annoyed and we don’t know why. Maybe it’s because of some girls who had banners complaining about the ticket prices. I don’t think it’s the place to show their dissatisfaction. If they thought the tickets were too expensive, they shouldn’t have come to the show. After all it was their choice to be in the Diamond Circle. Well that’s my opinion.
The first song of the encore was Wild Is The Wind and I have to say it’s a beautiful song to hear live. After that one, I recognized the first notes of Never Say Goodbye. I was really happy because it’s one of my favorites and I hadn’t had the chance to hear it live yet because they don’t play it often. I have to admit I cried throughout the whole song. After they played Wanted and Livin’ On a Prayer and they left the stage. It was a short but amazing concert!
I can’t believe that my tour is now over! I have so many memories to treasure. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank my favorite band, the best band in the world for giving me the opportunity to have so much fun and to feel so many emotions. I will miss you guys during your break but you deserve it and I hope you will have time to relax and have fun with your family and friends.
Now it’s time for me to save my money and be ready for next tour!
Some of my pics:
And here is one that I found on the forum one month after the show. We can see me trying to show my banner to Jon.
Finally here are my videos:
Quelle belle aventure cette tournée de Bon Jovi. On a vécu des moments incroyables et ça m'a permis de rencontrer d'autres fans comme moi! Alors oui, on doit commencer à économiser pour la prochaine tournée car j'ai l'impression qu'elle va nous coûter cher $$$ !!!!
